Ignition’s Spark Silicone Cable is a high-voltage ignition lead designed to carry the electrical current from a burner’s ignition transformer to the spark electrode, initiating reliable combustion in gas and oil burner systems. Built with a flexible silicone rubber insulation layer, the cable is engineered to withstand the extreme heat, vibration, and electrical stress found in industrial and commercial burner environments — conditions that can exceed 200°C near the burner assembly. Silicone rubber insulation is widely used in this application because it retains its structural integrity and electrical properties at elevated temperatures, unlike standard automotive-grade cabling, which is rated for much lower temperatures and is not suitable for industrial combustion use. This makes silicone-insulated cable a dependable choice for furnaces, boilers, ovens, and industrial burner assemblies where the cable routes close to hot surfaces.
